LIGHT WEIGHT AGGREGATE
Structural Light Weight Aggregate (SLWA) are secondary aggregates made from expanded clay. General Properties SLWA is very light having a bulk density of between 700 and 800 kg/m3. This is half the weight of normal aggregate. Void ratio exceeds 40% resistant to high temperatures spherical granular particles resistant to freeze/thaw cyles.
